Summary: Tennessee psychologists are required to obtain 40 hours of continuing education every licensing cycle. Of these 40 hours, 3 are to pertain to the Tennessee Code Annotated, Rules and Regulations, and Ethics. This 90-minute workshop will cover changes to Title 63, review the latest version of the Rules and Regulations, and apply both to hypothetical clinical situations.

Objectives: Participants will 1) correctly identify recent changes to TCA 63 and other statutes relevant to the work of psychologists; 2) be able to describe the requirements for continuing education; and 3) apply TCA, Rules and Ethics to relevant case examples.

This program fulfills 1.5 hours of the 3.0 continuing education hours
in ethics required by the Tennessee Board of Examiners during a two-year licensure cycle.

If you wish to have a meal provided before the program, please RSVP to Jenn Bishop at [email protected] by Friday, December 6 at 5:00pm. Specify any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. Only those who RSVP can be assured of a meal because dinner will be a boxed meal that must be ordered in advance.
